BGL Group to donate colleague time and business skills to local charities
Charities and good causes in need of skilled volunteers, are being urged to get in touch with BGL. The Group is looking for organisations in Peterborough and beyond which would benefit from the professional skills of its 3,000 people.
Everyone at BGL gets at least one day a year to volunteer for a cause close to their heart and while this has traditionally been for manual work, such as painting and gardening, the business skills colleagues have could be just as valuable to a charity or good cause. Finance, Excel or PowerPoint, website design/ IT, administration and marketing are just some of the areas where BGL colleagues can help.

Claire Virge, CSR and Sponsorship Manager at BGL Group, said: “Volunteering to support charities and good causes is something our colleagues are extremely passionate about. From accounting to web design, and marketing to administration, the Group has highly skilled individuals ready and willing to lend a helping hand. If you are a charity or good cause and need some specific support, whether that be an afternoon on marketing, an hour on Excel, or want more information, please get in touch. By sharing our skills, as well as our time, we’re hoping to make an even bigger impact on our local charities.”
