BGL ends summer on a high note with virtual music festival
BGL marked the official end of summer with a virtual music festival for its 3,000 colleagues, their families and friends.
The five-hour line-up included performances from cover band The Chaps and beat boxing trio Duke, as well as a family quiz, live scavenger hunt and a Lego challenge. 

To get colleagues in the party spirit, all received a festival essentials kit, including garden decorations and inflatable toys, plus a £20 voucher for snacks and drinks. The event was in lieu of the Group’s annual family fun day which usually sees thousands pack out Grange Farm in Wansford for a day of live entertainment and fairground rides.

Caroline Raines, Director of Communications at BGL, said: “BGL family fun days are a calendar highlight for the Group, so we’re really pleased we were able to deliver some of those key elements virtually. Events like this are another opportunity to connect and all the messages, photos and videos we’ve received from our colleagues clearly show they had a fantastic time and appreciated the gesture.”
