BGL enters top five of Top Track 250
BGL Group has climbed the ranks in a league table of the UK’s top-performing mid-market companies.
BGL has entered the top five for the first time in this year’s Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250, to be published on Sunday 7 October, and retains its title for the second consecutive year as the leading mid-market private company in the East of England.

BGL first entered the list at 229 in 2007 and broke into the top 100 in 2009. Since then the Group has steadily climbed the rankings, achieving 12th place last year.

Matthew Donaldson, Chief Executive Officer, BGL Group, said: “I’m delighted to hear that BGL has entered the top five of the Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 in our 25th year of trading.

“In our first quarter century, we’ve helped millions of customers, created some iconic brands and achieved sustained profit growth. Our progression in this Sunday Times league table reflects that growth and our desire to continually offer innovative products and services for our customers.”

The Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 list is produced by Fast Track, an Oxford-based firm which researches the UK’s top-performing private companies and organises networking events for industry leaders.
