Jaunt offers drivers the opportunity to take out a policy for just an hour or up to 30 days at a time
BGL Group has today announced its entry into the short-term car insurance market with the launch of new brand Jaunt, which offers car, van and motorhome insurance from as little as one hour to 30 days.
Jaunt taps into the increasing customer demand to secure short-term insurance on a borrowed vehicle rather than owning or renting one. Provided in partnership with Dayinsure and underwritten by Aviva, it allows drivers to take out a comprehensive policy online within a few minutes, without risking their own or the owner’s no claims discount in the event of a claim, and with no impact on the annual policy on the vehicle.
Targeted at the fresh, fun and flexible opportunities opened up by short-term car insurance, Jaunt aims to differentiate itself from more functional offerings in the marketplace. This is reflected in the brand’s distinctive tone of voice, vibrant colour palette, and fresh and engaging identity.
The launch of Jaunt is being supported by an advertising campaign targeting prime London Underground stations and tube carriages, together with a digital campaign via pay per click and programmatic adverts.
