.com, LesFurets.com and Beagle Street, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alistair Rose as Managing Director for its Life businesses, subject to regulatory approval.
Alistair will join BGL on 17 June from the AA where he is currently Consumer Membership Director. Prior to his time with the AA, Alistair spent seven years with Tesco, where he held a number of positions, including Customer Insight Director and International Telecoms Director. A commercial and marketing expert whose current remit includes development and delivery for product, pricing, marketing, sales, customer experience and analytics for the AA’s Consumer Roadside business, Alistair was previously a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman, having graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in Mathematics.
BGL Life, which sits within the Group’s Insurance, Distribution and Outsourcing (IDO) division, offers a range of simple, straightforward digitally focused life insurance products via own brands Beagle Street, FiftyLife and Budget Insurance and in partnership with Virgin Money Life Insurance.
