At BGLi the User Experience team are the ‘Engine Room’ for identifying, researching, creating and developing designs for new and optimised digital customer experiences. Forming part of the Commercial & Digital team our vision is to collectively make a difference to our customers by delivering differentiated, innovative propositions.

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a UX Developer to join us, ensuring our digital customer journeys work as well as possible, continually optimising them through A/B and multi-variant testing.

We are looking for someone with extensive front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/J-Query, Chrome Developer tools) and a passion for making websites work better for customers.

The role will involve using development skills to build new journey creatives that we can test, but also coming up with new journey ideas and keeping up to date with online trends. You may have worked in development but are keen to bring your skills to a marketing/business environment, or you may have some more basic development skills that you are keen to grow.

What will it take to be successful?

  • Demonstrable interest in digital experience through websites, Apps or other mediums / User Experience / Online customer behavior
  • Some experience in front-end web development with exposure to HTML, jQuery, CSS & SCSS / building of websites
  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders
  • Good experience of: HTML, CSS / SCSS, JavaScript / jQuery
