What’s the challenge?
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Planning and Resourcing Manager. You will be responsible for the effective management of resource sourcing and allocation to enable technology and wider teams across the organisation to deliver the CtM strategy. You will also be responsible for the continuous forecasting of capacities and planning of resources across the organization to deliver prioritised initiatives in the most efficient way. At all times, you understand current headcount and future demand so that recruitment of resources is both timely and relevant.
Where utilised, you are responsible for the effective management of all 3rd party partner operations and establish and maintain robust governance processes to actively manage risks and continuously improve operational ways of working. Where necessary, you are the main ambassador for distributed teams and cultural integration across sites.
What will it take to be a successful Planning and Resourcing Manager?
You work closely with the Plan Squad and associated stakeholders to understand demand and accurately plan supply to execute the CTM Strategy
You anticipate plans to mitigate/avoid any supply gaps and/or challenges that can undermine our operational efficiency
You identify and flag delivery structure issues to ensure resource allocation is optimised
You define processes to ensure there is ongoing transparency and availability of resourcing information, ultimately achieving automation and self service
Where necessary, you work closely with partners to ensure we always have the right balance between 3rd party resources and internal capacity whilst ensuring the smooth running of the recruitment pipeline.
You establish and maintain robust governance processes to actively manage risks -these include but are not limited to steering groups, regular risk reviews, internal and external audits
Where necessary, you are the first point of contact for all escalations related to our resourcing partners and you travel to partner offices regularly to immerse yourself in their culture, build relationships and better understand the challenges they face.
You collaborate with the rest of the CtM Framework team to define, plan and implement various resourcing models to ensure the business can always meet delivery expectations
