As a Support Analyst, you will provide support and system administration to stakeholders of the BGL Life software applications to deliver great outcomes for our customers.

You will work with the Commercial Delivery, Customer Hub and IT teams to identify recurring issues or themes which require changes to prevent reoccurrence ensuring that systems or process issues are raised and dealt with quickly and effectively.

Here at the BGL group we are passionate about people challenging themselves; building on their success and growing with us. This role gives you the opportunity to define & implement effective processes to identify, prioritise and resolve issues, whilst undertaking systems administration tasks.

Working within our BGL Life team, you will provide MI on issues identified and resolved and on operations and systems performance. You will ensure that the root cause is identified, as well as treating the symptoms. You will be an active learner who can effectively develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.


What will it take to be successful as a Support Analyst? 

  • Knowledge of the Life Insurance Business
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of collating information from different sources and developing an understanding
  • Some exposure to undertaking analysis to identify patterns and themes
  • Experience in the preparation and presentation of reports and data
  • Basic Knowledge of SQL server
  • Great customer service skills
