Senior Manager – Marketing Planning &
BGL Life have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Manager within
Marketing Planning & Performance to join their dedicated, digital
orientated team. The purpose of this role is to create and deliver effective
integrated media plans to achieve both marketing and business objectives to
include PPC, SEO, affiliates, social and ATL media. Heading up an internal
digital team you will need to have a flair for both people management and strategic
thinking when it comes to increasing brand exposure.
As the Senior Manager in Marketing Planning & Performance you will
work closely with the business to deliver effective, multi-channel marketing
campaigns which are aligned with our profit target for the brand. You will
contribute to the development of our media strategy and provide strategic
insight into all decision making across the marketing team. Within your role
you will support the Associate Director of Marketing in providing significant contribution
to business performance and analyse this activity to understand the impact that
BGL Life’s marketing spend has on bottom line ROI.
Throughout your role the relationships you build with both internal
stakeholders and external partners will prove invaluable to the team’s success.
Through interaction with BGL’s internal departments you will ensure that all
marketing activities are aligned with broader business plans and, on an
external basis, you will manage our Media agencies to extract maximum value
from media buying and delivery across all channels. As an expert in your field
your team will look to you for guidance, coaching and advice on complex/important
pieces of work. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that your team
remains motivated and effective in their daily work.
In order to keep one step ahead of the curve you will need to keep
a close eye on competitor and non-competitor’s media activity, adjusting plans with
industry changes and ensuring that all marketing activity is in accordance with
FCA requirements. Where improvements can be made you will advise on developing
and testing new strategies that drive customer acquisition.
