ComparetheMarketis looking to recruit a Cloud Platform Delivery Manager, based in our London office, to drive transformation of our Cloud Infrastructure into a Cloud Platform “Product” and to ensure delivery to our internal customer by achieving Availability, Efficiency, Performance and Security. 
The role is part of the Platform and Operations leadership team, leading and developing a team of c12 with main responsibility to deliver Cloud Infrastructure Services to our internal stakeholders to support our external product team speed to market objectives. 
You will collaborate with and support product teams to deliver the Cloud Platform roadmap with both Agile/Continuous Delivery but also traditional Waterfall Frameworks. You will partner across Tech to address issues critical to delivery and as a SM will be expected to own resolution of those issues.  
You can taste victory when Cloud Infrastructure and Platform achieves 99.9% availability, performs at very high standards and complies with CtM’s & BGL Group standards. Delivery processes are defined, efficient and repeatable, with appropriate KPI’s.  Engineering teams are appropriately skilled and resourced to meet the needs of the Platform Delivery roadmap. 
What will it take to be successful as Cloud Platform Delivery Manager?
  • Extensive experience in Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering and DevOps including a significant experience in a Management position.   
  • Experience of IT operational management in a 24/7 high volume e-commerce  environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Whilst not a hands on role, in depth experience in one or more is required  (AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, MongoDB, DevOps, AGILE, Continuous Delivery …)
  • Relevant degree, and/or Certification is nice to have, but not essential.
