Senior HRIS Analyst Developer - Job description

At the BGL Group, we’re a digitally advancing organisation and investing heavily in our business and people capability strategy which includes the provision of robust HR IT systems. Our HR systems estate is broad and diverse to include Human Capital Management (HCM), Recruitment, Talent Management, Payroll, Rewards and Benefits, and more.
 
This isn’t a typical HR data and reporting analyst role, you’ll be more involved in designing and building technical solutions, as you’ll own the entire customisation library, including (but not limited to) reports, extracts, workflows, fast formulae and templates. You’ll also apply and create relevant and appropriate governance to include documentation of design specs and test scripts.
 
Within your remit you’ll also develop and support inherited custom components, including system security models and you’ll maintain and develop HR business intelligence, including self service capability via Oracle BI.
 
What will it take?
Our requirements are for a technical enthusiast with the aptitude for programming (especially with SQL server) to support with configuring, developing and unit testing systems. Your appreciation for HR terminology and operations combined with your experience as a systems/technical analyst is the best place to start.
 
Exposure to Oracle Fusion HCM or equivalent would be a distinct advantage; however, any other HR system experience and third party supplier management would position you strongly for success in this role. Your success will be carried by your exemplary behaviours comprising of self-motivation, analytical thinking supported by a solution oriented, and proactive mind-set.
