Senior Digital Product Owner
BGL Life has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Digital Product Owner to take ownership of BGL Life’s online experience where you will be responsible for taking insight and designing solutions to overcome pain points with the ultimate aim of creating an improved customer experience for those looking to protect their loved ones. Leading a small team and working with multiple teams across the business, this position offers both the autonomy and ownership to drive forward the performance of the business in a market that is ripe for disruption.
As a Senior Digital Product Owner you will work closely with our digital marketing team with assets, tracking and improving trading performance with the aim to increase return on marketing investments (ROMI). Through this close relationship you will ensure there is an aligned view of performance whilst ensuring there is a clear road map to work to. This role allows for a huge amount of creativity and you will be actively encouraged to explore and push the boundaries of designs and digital innovation.
Working in a customer led department, the Senior Digital Product Owner will be responsible for ensuring that the online experience for existing customers is market leading and customers are able to easily self-serve and use the post-sale tools effectively. Working with your immediate team you will continually design and deliver an ongoing programme of optimisation and drive best-in-class insight where you will collaborate with others within the business to share knowledge and consumer research. As an expert in your field your team will look to you for coaching and leadership when it comes to UX design, research and analytics.

- Experience with Wordpress or (similar CMS)
- Experience with Figma, Indesign, XD or Axure (or similar design and prototyping tools)
- Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics or similar)
- An understanding of research methodology
- An understanding of modern technology and trends
- An understanding of Agile development and design handoffs
