An excellent opportunity has arisen to join as Senior Commercial Manager focussed on developing our relationships with Money product providers. This exciting new role requires an accomplished and commercially astute senior manager to deliver some of the key commercial priorities for

Is this you?

Working with internal stakeholders, you will engage with and help manage providers, ensuring that they deliver on their commitments, as well as negotiate and re-negotiate optimal commercial terms for (e.g. special offers and exclusive deals for our customers), leveraged against the outstanding value our platform can bring the partner in terms of efficient, low-cost distribution.

Additionally, you will be responsible for performance and development, ensuring, through partner dialogues and creative collaboration with colleagues, that each brand provides great products and value for our customers and an optimal return to

The panels for which you will have commercial responsibility include Credit Cards, Loans, Mortgages, Current Accounts and Savings. You will also identify potential new partner brands across all relevant panels, as well as possible affinity opportunities and successfully conclude relevant contractual and commercial negotiations.

What will it take to be successful?

You may have been performing a management role in a company which values the customer above all else – you will have a good understanding of internet distribution channels, ideally supported by a solid background in Financial Services, preferably in the products outlined. You will have a strong understanding of the digital environment and outstanding commercial acumen. Wherever you’ve gained your experience, you will certainly be able to demonstrate the core values of BGL Group and; you’ll be creative, innovative and capable of making a difference.

The successful candidate will also be resilient and personable, and will bring genuine integrity to bear when building and developing commercial relationships.

• Strong internal and external relationship builder
• Industry experience and business development capability
• Experience of negotiating with 3rd parties and seeking, gaining and retaining value
• Good understanding of regulatory framework (FCA, CMA et al)
• Strong financial acumen and experience of managing budgets
• Ability to deliver innovative tailored solutions
• Proven ability of managing multiple and competing tasks
• Project management experience
