What’s the challenge?

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join Compare the Market. This role will ensure the business understands our marketing performance and will support our marketing team with planning and forecasting, business cases and financial governance.

As the Senior Commercial Finance Manager - Marketing you’ll be the conduit between our marketing and finance teams. Fully immersing yourself within the Marketing Planning team you’ll ensure that plans have reasonable assumptions that align to the Compare the Market strategy. You’ll actively support the assessment of current and past activity and campaigns and provide a view on potential future performance. Being close to the detail, you’ll identify any inefficient activity as early as possible to maintain and maximise our digital media performance. With your understanding of econometric analysis, you’ll critically review results and make sure that any key learnings are considered for future campaigns.

Reporting into the Associate Director of Commercial Finance you’ll be a highly effective Business Partner to multiple stakeholders across our business. Providing assurance that marketing plans are robust, you’ll highlight risks and opportunities as appropriate.

What will it take to be successful?

As a qualified accountant with significant PQE experience, you’ll also demonstrate:

• Substantial levels of commercial experience, used to dealing with external partners and businesses
• Strong influencing skills to ensure the best decisions are taken
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to share complex models with non-financial stakeholders
