In 2017 the New Ventures team was formed to identify, develop and launch propositions which will drive future growth across the BGL Group. As consumer and technology trends develop, and new trends emerge, this focus will ensure the Group stays ahead of our competition, leveraging existing and building future capabilities. 
We’ve made good progress and we are now looking for ambitious people to join a venture which will leverage the opportunity being created via open banking; taking propositions forward through development to launch. 
We’re on the lookout to grow our delivery team and require a Senior Business Analyst to join a small agile and specialist team (on a 6 month FTC/Secondment) to build a new tech capability for the BGL Group that will facilitate the delivery of exciting new customer propositions for our Group companies.
This role can be based in either London or Peterborough and will require travel between the two sites to collaborate with both geographical tech teams.

What will you be responsible for as a Senior Business Analyst at BGL Group?
  • Focus on the right activity for our customers, ensuring that we are solving the right problem and can measure the value we add
  • Ensure the teams have the right information to the right level of detail
  • Technical understanding of systems
  • Remove ambiguity and champion simplicity
  • Work with agile methodologies and Lean thinking methods and practices across the teams
  • Are accountable for delivery, managing workflow and stories
  • Understand how our products influence customer behaviours
  • Support the business case by identifying the value proposition, key potential outcomes and costs
  • Work collaboratively across teams to identify risks, dependencies and opportunities
