Whats the challenge?
Working in the CXM team to fully migrate, develop and optimise our Salesforce Marketing Cloud software. You will own the Salesforce product, working with the CXM(CRM) campaign managers to support migration from our incumbent CRM tool into the new Salesforce tool and drive forward the maturity of the tool, identifying new opportunities and features to drive best in class omnichannel CRM campaigns. You will work with the CRM team and wider stakeholders to continue to leverage the tools, support training and identify features to drive innovative, best in class and omnichannel campaigns.
You will also work closely with our agency to build a rules based ‘air traffic control’ logic that drives our contact strategy, ensuring the right customer gets the right email at the right time. Continued maintenance of the air traffic control logic supporting business prioritisation and driving the maturity curve of the model working towards a more machine learning model in future.
•On going relationship with Salesforce managing the future facing product maturity roadmap. Supporting the definition and communication of the vision and ambition of our Salesforce tool and supporting the wider MarTech stack roadmap.
•Communication of new product features that align and drive the business ambition and objectives.
•Hands on build of automated, triggered campaigns, alerts and audiences for brand new campaigns which are handed over to the business to maintain.
•Maintenance of the Salesforce automation studio automations driving our existing campaigns.
•Hands on building of integrations between Salesforce and our wider stack which enable our marketers to build multi-marketing channel campaigns.
•Understanding of data and how to build data selections for complex segmentation and knowledge share and training of the wider CXM team to maximize campaign effectiveness and performance.
•Ongoing education of the features of Salesforce and best in class build expertise.
•Work with Data Engineering team to complete UAT data testing on new data into Salesforce.
•Working with our agency to define the logic and processes for a ‘air traffic control’, develop, build and maintain business rules into Salesforce automation studio. Once built, on going optimisation and refinement of the ATC system.
•Educating the business on the logic which goes into the system.
•Working with Marketeers to improve their campaigns scores.
Owning the governance and forums which decides the logic which prioritises campaigns
Skills & Experience
•In-depth hands-on experience & knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ideally including automation studio, journey builder, advertising studio and email studio)
•SQL knowledge to run automations in Salesforce automation studio
•Understanding of the technical delivery of campaign across broader marketing channels (DM, SMS, App, PPC).
•Excellent attention to detail and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
•Experience with Marketing planning.
•Equally comfortable in the business and commercial as the technical.
