As Research Manager at (CTM) you will be responsible for producing thought-provoking and influential customer research that helps to shape the future of our products and services.  

You’ll create actionable insights into customers’ attitudes, needs and behaviours, adopting appropriate research methodologies to deliver the best results.  Collaborating with a diverse range of teams, you will help to inform strategic decisions, shape propositions and provide thought leadership on customer issues.  

Your responsibilities will include the end-to-end delivery of research initiatives, ensuring that work is to a high standard, on time and within budget.  You will also manage and evolve our online customer panel, Voice of the Customer tracking (Net Promotor Score) and relationships with 3rd party research agencies/providers.

What will it take to be successful as a Research Manager?
Strong knowledge of different quant/qual market research techniques (e.g. MRS membership/ certification)
Hands-on experience of delivering end-to-end research projects (writing briefs, research methodology/design/execution, analysis and presentation)
Extensive experience of online survey design, with a strong understanding of industry best practice 
Great communication, presentation skills and story-telling ability- you’ll be able to adapt your style to your audience
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong knowledge of Excel- experience using other analytical/statistical tools would be an advantage, e.g. SQL, SPSS, R 
Experience working with third party research agencies to deliver projects on time and to brief
Experience mentoring, coaching or managing junior researchers
