Here at BGL we are seeking an outgoing, friendly individual to join the Communications team as a PA, covering maternity leave. This role will initially last between 9 and 12 months, with the opportunity of exposure within a diverse financial services company. The PA will be responsible for secretarial and administrative assistance to the Group Communications Director and Associate Director in Talent, Learning & Development.
It goes without saying this role requires resilience and ability to manage a busy workload whilst being discreet and confidential. Building and maintaining internal and external relationships is key, along with the ability to diarise efficiently. The PA will prepare presentations, take minutes, process expenses and organise meeting rooms whilst working to deadlines. Being able to self-manage, escalate and think about best practices is crucial.

What will it take?
• Previous experience in a PA role
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast moving environment
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Confidence engaging with senior level stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to be flexible and proactive
