As a SEO Senior Executive for our
ambitious comparethemarket.com team you’ll inspire and help to develop our SEO
strategy in conjunction with our senior manager, influencing wider marketing teams to drive SEO best practice.

Working to help support the
implementation of an evolving SEO strategy you’ll play a vital role in the
success of our Digital team, ensuring the continued improvement of SEO
performance against key metrics. You will be using your creativity to add value
and keep your finger on the pulse of Digital Marketing to ensure that our
strategy is competitive against the market. Working across the business you
will gain valuable exposure to our Tech, UX and product teams – collaborating
to develop and deliver marketing initiatives for CTM.
What will you be
responsible for as a Senior Marketing Executive for SEO?
Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager for SEO, you will
become part of a team that is pivotal in defining Marketing strategy and
delivering on objectives.
Suggest strategic and tactical
improvements to improve organic visibility, using insight and industry
Contribute to shaping our technical and
link acquisition roadmaps
Dedication to continue the integration of
SEO into CTM’s content marketing activities
Ensure maximum visibility of our owned and
earned assets through all areas of SEO - technical, content and off-site
Provide initial response to internal
requests and be an SEO
champion across the business, Helping deliver against ranking and
and make your own our weekly and monthly reporting across the business
What will it take to
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
and an ability to develop optimal relationships quickly
Proven experience in an SEO role, with an interest
in all aspects of SEO and a good knowledge of how it fits into digital marketing
as a whole
A good understanding of search engines and the
algorithmic ranking factors; i.e. how search engines, read, index and value
Experience using SEO tools and an understanding of
search and ranking factors
A good understanding of mobile and voice search SEO
with an ability to report on data
A results-oriented nature with strong analytical and
problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership of projects with a high
attention to detail
