Learning and Development Manager
BGL Group have an exciting new opportunity for a Learning & Development Manager to join our dynamic L&D team who are going through an exciting period of change within the business. The purpose of this role is to design and deliver interventions to support both the delivery of the group strategy and divisional business plans. Working alongside a range of senior Stakeholders you will design and deliver development interventions that drive improved, sustainable performance whilst also continuing to evolve the Group L&TD core offering for our colleagues.
This role offers both a varied and exciting opportunity for someone who prides themselves in developing talent and capability through the creation of innovative, engaging and blended Learning & Development initiatives in a commercial environment. As a L&D Manager you will take an analytical view on talent development and define key skill gaps within each division. You will then be responsible for devising training solutions/succession planning to provide appropriate solutions for each case.
Working closely with Senior L&D partners, Senior HR Business Partners and key business stakeholders you will be responsible for contributing to an already successful team of experts; supporting on all strategic HR/L&TD programmes and divisional capability plans. In role you will own and deliver our core offer as well as BAU programmes such as Onboarding, Personal Development and Management Development. You will need to influence stakeholders across the business to build on capability and proactivity gain feedback from each to understand what the needs are and assess the effectiveness of current training.

- Expertise and proven ability to design and deliver innovative development interventions
- Strong facilitator of all types of training delivery
- Commercially minded and able to speak the language of the business.
- Ability to identify key capability gaps and how to address, including demonstrable ROI.
- Ability to analyse data, recommending and implementing insightful action
- Strong programme management and organisation skills
- Formal HR Qualification CIPD or Occupational Psychological qualification (desirable)
- Psychometric accredited (desirable)
