We are looking for someone like you to act as business partner for IDO Finance and IDO Business areas, providing support and assistance relevant stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for the accuracy and timely reporting of P&L performance reports, Balance Sheet, KPI, and KRI submissions to the Group, whilst ensuring daily and weekly operational tasks are performed to reconcile accounts and minimise any backlog of activity.
This is an exciting time to join BGL as we continue to develop processes to drive effectiveness and efficiency within Financial Control. You as the Finance Manager will have every opportunity to steer, shape and streamline processes and improve systems. Strong stakeholder management is key in this role as you will be engaging with the business, reflecting performance potential, and articulating our actual performance against budget and forecasts.
You’ll be joining a fantastic supportive team with a great atmosphere in a happy environment. Here you’ll operate as a competent team leader and mentor, directing and encouraging the team towards goals, and collaborate with the wider finance teams. Along with experience and knowledge, we need someone who has the ‘get up and go’ and can really make a positive impact.

• Qualified accountant
• Management accounts experience including variance analysis & commentary
• Intermediate / advanced Excel skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Effective business partnering skills
• Experience of managing teams and driving performance
• Experience of Anaplan/ Great Plains would be beneficial but not essential
• Excellent organisational skills, including task prioritisation for self and team
• Ability to share complex information, in simple terms with non-financial stakeholders
