Executive Talent Acquisition Manager

BGL Group are looking for an innovative and experienced Executive Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Talent Acquisition Team. Team TA at BGL are responsible for engaging and attracting talent across all businesses, Comparethemarket, IDO and Group.
Team TA has 13 TA specialists working in a 360 environment, this role will report into the Talent Acquisition Associate Director. The Team work across 3 sites – Peterborough, London and Sunderland. BGL are truly a flexible employer so location is open to discussion.
We are looking for someone who can thrive in a challenging environment whilst working at pace. You must be able to work independently, take a hands-on approach, have excellent people management skills and interface effectively with professionals at all levels, particularly at Senior Leadership/C suite level.
This Exec TAM will be responsible for driving the efforts to find and attract diverse passive talent at a senior level across the entire BGL Group, collaborating with business partners and HR. You’ll also take on a lead role in various projects that impact the TA team’s efficiency and strategies, strengthening our ability to hire quality, diverse talent. This is a hands-on role that is delivery focussed coupled with defining and implementing effective and proactive sourcing strategies to generate high calibre candidates.
You will manage external relationships with Search partners, as not all campaigns will be direct.
What will it take?
You will have a proven track record for being exceptional at research and candidate generation in a Fintech environment & possess strong verbal and written communication skills. You will need to demonstrate an ability to influence stakeholders while providing amazing customer service to your stakeholders & candidates.
Be great to have proven experience of recruiting against competencies, including the use of appropriate assessment tools for competency based selection. You will have an In-depth understanding of search tools including social media, LinkedIn and other Data Mining skills whilst being naturally motivated and creative in driving solutions to challenging hires.
It would be advantageous to have substantial Technology/Fintech TA experience, preferably in an Executive Search or onsite environment at an executive level that is customer facing. This role will also incorporate Market Research assignments.
