This is a fantastic opportunity to join Compare the Market as a Digital Analytics Technical Lead. You’ll provide technical ownership for the Digital Analytics technologies enabling cutting-edge Digital Marketing and Analytics and personalised experiences for our customers.
Keeping abreast of Digital Analytics technologies and having experience using industry leading tech stack (e.g. Adobe, Tealium, Google 360 / GA4 and Salesforce) will be key to this role, ensuring we keep pace with the evolving business needs. You’ll be working with Architects and Technical Leads to define the best solutions for our Digital Analytics and tagging. You will be driving improvements in quality, automation and usage making sure the Digital Analytic technologies are working for us. You’ll be a technical mentor providing leadership and support to the Digital Analytics Team.
Working with technical and non-technical people you’ll be building relationships and engaging with people across the business. This will include our Marketing, Product and Insight teams to understand future roadmaps and ensure solutions meet the business requirements. Tech teams will work with you to define tagging standards, alerting and best practice and you will lead the approach to build automated testing and alerting.
What will it take?
• Expert knowledge of Digital Analytics (Adobe Analytics, Tealium, Google Analytics and/or other relevant tools / platforms)
• Demonstrable experience of implementing and providing ongoing maintenance of Digital Analytics technologies
• Experience of Tag Management technologies
• Good understanding of data relationships across platforms for data alignment and accuracy
• Excellent communicator with experience of interfacing between business and technical teams
• Awareness of Digital/ AdTech disciplines including SEO, PPC and Display
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
