This is a fantastic opportunity to join (CTM) as a Product Manager – Data Platform.  Your role will be pivotal in owning and driving the adoption on our new integrated cloud data platform that provides a universal customer view of our customers. Stakeholder management and leadership through empowering other with be key, defining internal customer outcomes, translating these to requirements and ensuring the team deliver to agreed timescales. You’ll be key to a wide range of activities including; delivering and supporting the Data Platform, driving a Product Management mindset and way of working through owning the vision, roadmap, managing the backlog, writing user stories, ensuring that work is driven by business use cases and delivering value and ultimately supporting us in achieving our strategy.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
•    Form effective internal customer relationships across CtM. Ensures the Data Platform is driven by business needs and value prioritization by helping understand how data can be used to support business propositions
•    Translate business strategies and commercial needs into a backlog with high quality user stories and communicate these clearly to the Data Platform team for delivery. Lead internal customer forums to prioritise the backlog
•    Build-Run-Own’s the Data Platform and ensures it delivers an operational service. Direct external vendors and manage the relationship, service and costs
•    Supports Data Governance to ensure that captured data is aligned to Policy & Standards and published into a Catalogue
•    Supports BI, Analytics, Marketing & Product teams to ensure that required data is captured from internal and external sources and made available for use
•    Continuous improvement and innovation of customer experiences (internal and external) and team processes
•    High quality business decisions within the team, through the appropriate use of data to inform them.
•    Make effective trade-off decisions e.g. scalability vs running costs, tech debt vs speed to value
•    Solid knowledge of the various constraints of the CtM business, data and tech stack - regulatory, architectural, marketing, sales, service, finance, legal, and privacy
•    Pro-actively identify and manage risk, issues and dependencies relating to the delivery of change
•    Ensure that technical documentation and implementation details are accurately communicated throughout the relevant teams

•    Proven experience as a Product Manager defining and delivering Data solutions in an agile environment
•    Able to build and maintain strong relationships with a large number of business customers
•    Highly influential. Lead through empowering others, influence and trust
•    Understanding of modern, customer and data centric product and experience development approaches and techniques
•    Understanding how to collect and use data that can drive effective decision making
