What’s the challenge? 
We have an exciting new opportunity to join us at Compare the Market as a Data Governance Practice Lead. This role will be vital to us, working with Data Governance team to ensuring accountability for delivery against agreed milestones so we delivery against our strategy. 

Collaboration will be key, working with the Data Governance team you’ll ensure that all assigned projects have clearly defined requirements for Data Privacy, Data Security, Data Quality & Data Governance. You’ll proactively provide timely and accurate reporting on progress, risks and issues ensuring that progress against projects is communicated and understood and any delays are explored and mitigated or escalated in a prompt manner. You’ll represent our Data Governance team when providing updates to the programme board on the progress of our workstreams, highlighting status of tasks and any blockers that affect delivery dates.  

You’ll be contributing to discussions on existing standard process that projects have and should adopt and where necessary suggest how best to comply with both regulatory and business policy. Working with risk team you’ll identify and expand Data Governance Controls and Key Risk Indicators to allow post launch reporting and monitoring of the changes introduced by the strategic projects. You’ll have the opportunity to support the delivery of Data Governance workstreams e.g. Identification of PII data in proposed table structures for new Platform and contribute to the continuous development of CtM Data Maturity Framework and ensure its adoption across the projects.

•    Knowledge and experience of data privacy and security approaches, practices and toolkits
•    Experience managing highly complex projects/ programmes in an agile environment
•    Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and spot the game changers
•    Driven, determined and thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm under pressure 
•    Attention to detail with the ability to take a strategic viewpoint
•    Excellent communication & influencing skills with a high degree of commercial acumen 
•    Self-motivated team player with a collaborative, positive approach
