This Data Architect role is a key hire for Compare the Market and will be responsible for defining and realising the data platform and architecture to support the business. You will establish a clear technical authority within this programme, liaising with a range of business and technology stakeholders to drive requirements forward, identify areas of greatest business value and help the team deliver against the strategic objectives of the organisation.


Alongside your stakeholders you will be a part of a senior team of technical architects who individually are accountable for driving architectural roadmaps across multiple capabilities. You will need to be able to express your ideas with clarity, confidence and logical reasoning, developing strong relationships built on shared goals and ideals.

What will it take?


We are searching for someone who ticks the following boxes:  

  • Strong technology leadership skills
  • Proven experience of delivering designs and data architectures to meet real-time commercial objectives and improve security, availability, efficiency and productivity
  • Preferred experience working with multiple patterns, domains, languages and persistence mechanisms as well as distributed systems.
  • You’ll have a desire to take ownership of tasks and solve problems. Your strong technical and communication skills equip you to deliver elegant, industry leading data solutions
  • Advocate of lean principles, keen to code and perform research and development into new technologies.
  • Active learner, keeping up to date with developments in your technical and professional area of expertise.
