In this role you’ll experience broad insight into various technologies around the Group and how they all influence each other to drive our business forward. As such the role comes with high visibility in respect to the scope of our technological estate and our reliance on you to be responsive and accountable for fault finding and escalating as required.

The role sits within the IT Operations Department, and covers the 24x7x365 operation and support of BGL’s core applications and infrastructure. You’ll be key to liaising with IT personnel, business users up to and including board members and external 3rd party service providers.
What will it take to be successful as an IT Control Centre Analyst?
· You’ll ideally have worked in a similar environment and worked as part of an IT Control Centre Team, in the day-to-day 24x7x365 running of applications and technical Infrastructure.
· You’ll have proven experience of taking responsibility when on shift, ensuring that all tasks and processes are adhered to and that all problems are logged and escalated in accordance with our procedures.
· Your success is dependent on your thorough understanding of technical terms to confidently tackle and manage a variety of issues through effective communication and co-ordination of call out groups.
· The role is subject to shift work (shift allowance included), as part of a team you’ll operate a shift pattern of 4-on 4-off, covering 12 hour shifts between 0700 - 1900hrs and 1900hrs - 0700hrs.
