What's the challenge?

We are recruiting for a Compliance Monitoring Manager to devise, manage and execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan to provide ongoing assurance across CtM that customer journeys, customer-impacting processes and relevant documents comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including the requirement to provide fair customer outcomes. 

In role you will manage the delivery of reviews within the Compliance Monitoring Plan to time and quality. You will perform both thematic reviews and execute against a continuous monitoring programme. You will be responsible for building relationships with stakeholders and providing pragmatic actions to ensure compliance is achieved/ maintained. 

Throughout your role, you will promote a strong Risk & Compliance culture, deputising for the Senior Manager at meetings and providing early notification of conduct, regulatory or conflict of interest issues discovered and requiring urgent escalation via the Senior Manager – Compliance Monitoring. 

What will it take to be a successful Compliance Monitoring Manager? 

  • Experience of the design, planning and execution of Compliance Monitoring in an FCA regulated environment 

  • Experience of working in teams in financial services roles 

  • Understanding of complex business models/operation 

  • Logical, evidence based approach to problem solving 

  • Strong communication styles and adaptability, particularly with executive and board audiences 

  • High intellectual curiosity 

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills 

  • Good organisational and time management skills
