Joining our team as a Commercial Apprentice at, you’ll learn how we develop and manage sustainable relationships with our partners to help us to deliver our commercial priorities and objectives, ensuring that we are able to transform and own comparison, and making the best comparison site with which to do business.


We have two amazing opportunities working in different teams. One of our roles will be focusing on our relationships with third party providers, supporting the commercial managers in ensuring we have the best deals and products for our customers. The second opportunity is within our Partnerships team which focuses on developing relationships with new and existing partners, to understand how we can collaborate to increase customers to our website. This will give you a unique opportunity to be part of the whole process of supplier/relationship management from identifying new providers, agreeing contractual terms and working collaboratively with the supplier/provider to identify new opportunities and achieving service level agreements – you’ll learn how to do it all!


We’re invested in your success and align you with a business mentor who will support and encourage your professional and personal career development here at During your apprentice scheme you will study towards a Level 4 qualification with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). The scheme has a blended learning approach, web based learning, attending workshop and sitting exams. You will have the opportunity to gain unique access to high priority /key strategic partnerships and supplier arrangements, which are critical to the success of our business.


After the programme you will have the opportunity to progress to into a manager role, you will also gain exposure to other departments during this scheme, giving you an insight into so many other areas within our business.



What will you be responsible for as an Apprentice?

·         Will deliver account management support which is industry leading and perceived by partners as highly professional, accessible, responsive and value adding

·         Collating and analysing performance data.

·         Will manage the majority of communications with partners

·         Attend and contribute to monthly partner meetings as required

·         Will produce highly detailed and accurate performance packs and minutes and actions when required

·         Will deputise for commercial managers in their absence with a range of actions and queries


What will it take to be successful as an Apprentice?

·         You must have 5 GCSEs Grades A*-C, or the new grades 4-9 including Math’s & English language (or equivalent).

·         You’ll have 2 A levels (or equivalent), at C or above, Ideally Business related.

·         Demonstrate a passion for business and a basic commercial understanding.

·         Ideally you are skilled in Microsoft, Outlook and PowerPoint

·         Confident and Professional Manner with the ability to build relationships.

·         You have an eye for the detail and a passion for analysing data.

·         You will have excellent communication skills with the drive to contribute towards team success

·         Willingness and commitment to self-learn, and happy to commit towards study hours outside of work
