Every day is a development day

So our Learning & Development team works hard to provide a wide range of relevant development opportunities across the Group to support our customers, our people and our growing business.
Everyone must attend induction training at BGL, as we believe how you go about things is as important as what you do. Learning about our culture, our values and where we are going is an important part of working at BGL. We want everyone who works with us to excel in their role – it’s not just important for people’s careers, it’s good for our customers and our business too.
There are many opportunities for role-specific development. These range from the essential skills to provide a great customer experience; to career progression through Apprentice schemes, Student and Graduate development programmes; formal ‘in house’ opportunities and financial support to complete professional qualifications.
