Welcome to BGL

You’ve just started your adventure at BGL, with up to four exciting rotations ahead of you, and a buddy from last year’s Marketing Graduate Programme to support you along the way, here’s a flavour of what you might experience...

Induction

A chance to get to know BGL as well as your fellow Grad Community from our other programmes. You’ll start the first modules of your Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Professional Diploma as well as start professional development sessions aimed to help you be a leader of the future.

Rotation one

You may land a role in Compare the Market, previous rotations have been in areas such as Brand & Communications working on exciting TV campaigns, the Coronation Street sponsorship deal or managing Aleksandr and Sergei’s Social Media accounts.

You’ve also just met your mentor who’ll work with you through the programme to support your career development.

Before you start your second rotation, you’ll study for your second CIM module and then re-group with the other grads for professional development training!

Rotation two

You’re six months in and are now rotating around the business, this time you could be placed in BeagleStreet.com, analysing marketing campaigns and industry data to help the marketing team formulate and drive BeagleStreet.com's strategy.

Or… You could be lucky and get placed in Paris! Some lucky French-speaking graduates could be off to work in the French capital as part of the planning team helping to report on marketing performance and managing TV and Digital Media spend for campaigns.

Last CIM module coming up! Before starting rotation three you’ll start studying for your final CIM module which will be completed by month 18. You’ll also be back in the classroom for some more professional development workshops.

Rotation three

Your third rotation could be within our Insurance Distribution and Outsourcing Marketing team managing communications for our own insurance brands, ensuring our communications are in line with brand tone of voice and engaging with various key stakeholders. Or you could be supporting the SEO team writing and delivering written and video content.

Rotation four

Your experience over the last year and a half will have given you a great foundation of knowledge to help in your final rotation.

After the programme

It's decision time... the programme is complete, and you have managed to secure a position within one of businesses across the Group.
