I am a recent graduate from Loughborough University where I studied IT Management in Business. I have lived all over the Country starting in Norwich where I was born until moving to Hull, Bristol, Loughborough, Gillingham and Derby (leaves me with one hell of an odd accent). I love giving back and have been part of a team raising over £60.000 for Epilepsy society. At University I participated hugely within my department and living hall being on the committee for both as Careers rep and Media rep respectively. A big part of my life is sports and especially football (Chelsea fan). I try and do sports/work out at least 5 times a week to make up for all the junk food I consume.
I joined BGL because of the fantastic opportunities which the company offers as well as the great training and workshops BGL offered. I have loved the graduate scheme so far as I have been able to learn so many new skills! Having already been involved in one large project designing a quiz for potential graduates to see which role they fit within, I am again working with the other tech graduates from the scheme working on a large project for Beagle Street. These projects have been an incredible learning experience, both helping me improve my coding skills as well as learning more about the business, project work and how to keep to those tight deadlines.
