Junction
Junction is the partnerships division of the BGL Group; our aim is to form mutually profitable relationships with market leading brands and organisations.
Junction was formed in 2002 to support BGL's strategic decision to enter the growing affinity insurance market where well known brands extend their product offerings into insurance by outsourcing to an established insurance provider.
Since its launch, Junction has grown rapidly and is now the largest personal lines affinity provider in the UK, with over 1.7 million customers. Our history as an insurer gives us an enviable legacy of investment in our in-house systems and supporting infrastructure that enables us to deliver tailored solutions to our partners and provide wide coverage and competitive rates through our panel of the top UK insurers.
Customers are serviced through BGL's major contact centre operations in Peterborough, Coventry and Sunderland and we have also developed state of the art Internet functionality.

The Post Office has entered into a joint venture with the Bank of Ireland to provide Post Office branded financial service products. We provide both motor and home insurance utilising the Post Office branch network and targeted direct marketing campaigns. Aviva acts as our lead insurer partner for Post Office Financial Services.
Marks and Spencer is one of the foremost names in High Street retailing in the UK. Junction provides motor insurance to Marks and Spencer customers under the M&S Money brand, through their chain of high street stores and as part of their financial services product offering.
HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world and is now supplying motor insurance products and services to its UK customers through its affinity partnership with Junction. The scale of the partnership positions HSBC among the top three of Junction's clients by size.
RAC, one of the UK's most powerful motoring brands with a loyal customer base and a heritage spanning more than 100 years, has selected Junction to support its ambition for significant sales growth. This unique business model has huge potential and will support lead insurer Aviva, with a bespoke panel of additional underwriters. Also, for the first time Junction's IT and back-office systems have been adapted for external use, via RAC's existing contact centre.
We provide motor insurance for Auto Trader, the UK's no 1 destination for new and used cars, which reaches an audience of over 10.3 million motorists through the largest motoring magazine and website in the UK.
yesinsurance.co.uk is a sister company of Provident Insurance plc, which has been providing competitive motor insurance policies for over 40 years and currently has more than 500,000 customers. yesinsurance.co.uk also offers home and van insurance both of which are provided by a panel of leading insurance companies.
In April 2010, the Car and Home Insurance businesses of Bradford & Bingley were acquired by BISL Limited. BISL Limited continues to offer Car and Home Insurance under the Bradford & Bingley brand under licence. During the first year of the partnership, Home insurance grew by 200 per cent, while sales of motor insurance, previously a very small area of business, have rocketed by 1,000 per cent.
