BGL Group Strengthens Management Team

New MD appointed to manage core personal lines brands

The BGL Group today announced the appointment of a new Managing Director to support the future of its business as it continues to grow at pace.

Mark Collier is to join the Group from Provident Insurance, where he has held the position of Managing Director since 2001. He brings a wealth of experience gained over more than 20 years in the industry, having held various roles with Provincial Insurance and Iron Trades Insurance Group before joining Provident in 1995 and becoming Operations Director.

Mark is to take the role of Managing Director for Frontline, the business unit that encompasses the BGL Group's key personal lines insurance brands including BUDGET, ibuyeco, Bennetts bike insurance and Dial Direct.

Peter Winslow, Chief Executive of the BGL Group said: "We are delighted to welcome Mark Collier to the Group. Mark will join the Group on October 1 2008.
