New recruits for comparethemarket.com

Immediate release: 12 June 2008

comparethemarket.com, the online price comparison site, has strengthened its senior team with three new appointments.

Tania Joyce is the new Associate Director for Finance, Mark Attwell has been appointed as Associate Director for E-commerce and Lisa Corston is the new Senior PR Manager.

Tania JoyceTania Joyce previously worked in finance for Fusion, the insurance contact centre operation. Prior to that she worked for food retailer Campbell for nine years. Based in Cambridge, she started there as financial controller and moved into a commercial role looking after the wholesale and retailer-branded sectors.

 

 

Mark AttwellMark Attwell has extensive experience in e-commerce working for companies such as Thomas Cook, Thomson Holidays and Virgin Holidays. For the last 18 months he has been working for Bennetts, the leading motorcycle insurance specialist. During that time Mark has developed and delivered the Bennetts e-commerce strategy playing a significant part in the growth of the business.

His new role will play a crucial part in comparethemarket.com's bid to develop a leading edge consumer proposition.

Lisa CorstonLisa Corston has nine years' experience in the insurance industry. She began her career in customer services and claims and then moved into marketing. She became responsible for Budget Van Insurance in December 2006 where she managed all of the marketing activity, including acquisition marketing, branding/sponsorship and PR.

She is relishing the challenge of handling PR for comparethemarket.com which has invested significantly in brand awareness this year.
