New recruit to help drive further growth for Junction affinity partnerships division

Junction has appointed a new marketing specialist to help drive the future growth of this expanding division of the BGL Group - the UK's largest privately-owned personal lines insurance intermediary.

Junction provides consumer insurance products for major brands including the Post Office®, Marks and Spencer, Auto Trader and Bradford and Bingley. It is the fastest growing personal lines insurance affinity provider in the UK with more than one million customers under management.

Andy Dellbridge has been appointed as Senior Marketing Manager. His role will involve working with Junction's partners to help maximise the effectiveness of their insurance marketing campaigns. In addition he will support business development, in winning new contracts for Junction in line with its ambitious expansion plans.

Andy joins from Legal & General, where he headed up the marketing planning/insight and product development teams for general insurance for more than two years. Before that Andy held positions as Propositions Manager at Phones4u and Group Marketing Manager for Abbey.

His appointment coincides with an ambitious phase of growth for Junction as it looks to meet its target of three million policies under management by the end of 2009."
