M&S extends affinity partnership with Junction until 2011
Immediate release: 20 April 2007
M&S Money has extended its partnership with Junction, the UK’s leading affinity insurance provider for a further two years, to 2011.
The partnership was set up in 2004 and has made M&S a significant distributor of motor insurance in the affinity market. The extended partnership sees M&S Money and Junction move to a joint business framework which represents a closer collaborative relationship.
A major marketing campaign will be launched later this year to spearhead the sales drive and highlight that customers of M&S Money car insurance receive UK and European breakdown cover as standard.
Steve Price, General Insurance Manager, M&S Money commented: "Junction has demonstrated a high level of service to M&S and our customers. We’re now extending the relationship and will be working closely on marketing campaigns that show that our car insurance gives consumers a bit more M&S."
Phil Zeidler, Managing Director, Junction said: "M&S has one of the strongest names on the high street. Its decision to extend our contract is an endorsement of our ability to deliver a high level of customer service which sits comfortably with the M&S brand.
"We have the size and scale in our operations to meet its growth plans. We can also adapt to changes in the market extremely quickly and so maintain M&S's competitive advantage."
