Junction Exceeds 1.5 Million Customers

Junction today announced that it now handles in excess of 1.5 million customers across its partner brands for motor and home insurance. This figure represents 100 per cent growth over the last 24 months.

The increase results partly from the addition of significant new partners in recent months, including HSBC and RAC, and partly through the expansion of existing partner portfolios for brands including Post Office®, M&S Money and Auto Trader.

Managing Director, Peter Thompson, said: "Our focus is on driving the best possible return for all our partners, through attracting new customers for our partner brands and helping them to retain existing ones. We believe that our bespoke approach is the key driver of our growth. Every product is designed individually to suit each brand's target customer profile and we build tailored panels of leading insurers to ensure competitiveness and quoteability."

Junction, part of the BGL Group, launched in 2003 and quickly became UK's leading player in insurance affinity, a sector now estimated to be worth almost 20 per cent of the UK's motor insurance market.

Peter Thompson continued: "The current economic climate is really driving businesses to seek opportunities to increase their revenue. Junction is well placed to deliver high returns at low risk. We're expecting further growth in the coming months and should reach two million customers in 2010."
