Fusion Feel the Love

Employees put their hearts into Valentine's Fund-raiser

Immediate release: 19 February 2008

Employees at Fusion contact centres throughout the UK and South Africa, put their hearts into a Valentine's Day-themed fund-raiser and raised almost £1,500 for charity on Thursday.

Colleagues took part in a range of activities throughout the day in a bid to raise as much money as possible for their chosen charities including the NSPCC, the newly-appointed charity supported by Fusion and its parent company, the BGL Group, for the coming year.

Some colleagues paid £1 for the privilege of dressing down for the day, with the compulsory inclusion of the colour red; others took part in a personalised delivery of home-made Valentine's cards and a romantic Cupids Quiz over the intranet. There were Valentine’s raffles, cake stalls and much more.

Fusion Managing Director David Thompson said: "Our teams have a real community spirit when it comes to fund-raising. The fun-filled activities created a buzz in the workplace while helping to raise a generous amount for good causes. A big thank you goes to everyone who got involved on the day."
