Fusion Does Its Fair Share for FareShare

A team of 12 volunteers from Fusion Sunderland helped transform the headquarters of FareShare in nearby Pallion, Sunderland.
Tony Barrett, Retentions Department Manager and Gavin Coates led the volunteers which included Jamie Gibbons, Gary Buckham, Hayley Atkinson, Jane Reid, Lee Swindle, Alison Cole, Alison Coils, David Lormor, Claire Garraghan and Rebecca Smith.
This was the third volunteer project for the Fusion team and involved them painting the training room, corridors and both sets of toilets in the distribution centre.
FareShare is a charity responsible for delivering surplus food from the food industry to homeless and vulnerable people in the local community.
