Four new roles for Junction

New posts to handle expanding business

Immediate release: 05 March 2009

Junction, the UK's leading affinity partnerships specialist for personal lines insurance, has appointed four new relationship managers to handle its expanding business.

Gary Noye and Matthew Throne are new Senior Relationship Managers, while Emma Rodulson-Ellis and Francois van Schalkwyk take positions as Relationship Managers. All four will be responsible for ongoing liaison with Junction's affinity partners, which include Post Office®, M&S, HSBC, RAC and Auto Trader.

Junction is the largest personal lines affinity provider in the UK, responsible for more than 1.4 million policyholders and has grown rapidly since its launch in 2002. It helps establish mutually profitable relationships with major brands, to enable them to extend their product offerings into insurance.

Gary Noye joins Junction from USP solutions, where he worked on the launch of a new business energy price comparison site. He previously worked for Centurion Claims Management as Business Development Manager, and prior to that spent 12 years working with Towergate.

Matthew Throne was previously an Account Director for Reliance Group, handling retail manpower services to Sainsbury's for more than four years. His experience in delivering to clients’ requirements will be invaluable in his role for Junction.

Emma Rodulson-Ellis joins the team from Davenham Group PLC where she was Business Development Manager, establishing and maintaining relationships with key business contacts and clients. Prior to this Emma gained 6 years’ experience in handling business clients for Barclays Bank.

Francois van Schalkwyk gained his new role via an internal appointment. Francois has been with the BGL Group for four years, joining as International Business Manager for the Group Chairman, working across offices in London and Johannesburg. In 2005 he took a new role for Group Procurement, managing major tender processes and new relationships for the Group as a whole.

Peter Thompson, Managing Director of Junction, said: "The Junction business has expanded significantly over the last year. Not only have we continued to grow customer numbers for our existing partners, but we have also attracted new clients looking to exploit the huge opportunities for their brands in motor and home insurance. Our relationships with partners are our lifeblood – we know that mutual trust and communication are the secret to success. Our new relationship managers will play a crucial role for Junction and we welcome Gary, Matthew, Emma and Francois to the team."
