Call Centre Staff Donate To Local Charity

Immediate release: 30 July 2007

Staff at the Fusion Contact Centre in Bretton, Peterborough have donated £300 to the Peterborough & District Deaf Children's Society (PDDCS). The money came from the company's Give Committee which is a valuable part of the company's commitment to contributing to local charities, causes and events in the area in which it is based. Each month, each of the divisions are allocated a sum of money to give to a local good cause of their choice.

The PDDCS organises activity days, play schemes and trips away for children with all types of hearing loss from temporary glue ear to profound deafness. They also provide support for families dealing with the challenges that hearing loss can bring.

Andy Palmer, Team Leader, Fusion Peterborough and PR and Liaison Officer for PDDCS said: "Thanks to Fusion's generous donation the PDDCS can now print their latest newsletter and will be able keep their members up to date with all PDDCS news. Thank you to Fusion's Give Committee for their continued support."

Fusion call centres handle sales and customer service calls for Budget and Dial, Bennetts motorcycle insurance and top high street brands such as the Post Office, Bradford & Bingley and Marks & Spencer Money.
