Solicitor Joins In-house Legal Team at BGL Group
Legal team expands to cope with business demands

Solicitor James Bizley has joined the in-house legal department at the Peterborough-based BGL Group – one of the UK's largest privately-owned personal lines insurance intermediaries.
James joins BGL Group from Buckles Solicitors in Peterborough where he was an associate in the company commercial department for more than four years.
A graduate in Modern Languages and International Business Finance from the University of Northumbria, James also completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Law and The Legal Practice Course at BPP School in London.
As part of the six-strong legal team James' work spans a broad range of commercial legal matters affecting the business including the drafting and negotiation of a variety of contracts – such as new joint business framework agreements for the company's affinity insurance specialist Junction and aggregator agreements for its price comparison website comparethemarket.com – Group intellectual property protection, litigation and external PR.
James said: "I am relishing my new role. The ability to be actively involved and see the impact of the work I do on the daily life of the business is extremely rewarding. It is a very fast-paced business and there's always something new to challenge me to find focused, practical and efficient ways of applying the law to meet the demands of the business."
