BGL Group expands its eCommerce expertise with new appointment


Steve Maile joins from Bauer Media as eCommerce Manager

Frontline, a division of the BGL Group, today announced the appointment of a new eCommerce manager for its in-house brands. Steve Maile joins Frontline from Bauer Media where he was responsible for maximising revenue across several large brands through digital opportunities.

Whilst at Bauer Media, Steve was instrumental in creating new functionality and enhancing customer engagement across multiple channels. Drawing on his eCommerce background, Steve will focus on how Frontline's web usability can be increased through functionality and design, together with the use of analytics and multi-variant testing.

Karen Wilkinson, Associate Director of Trading for Frontline, said: "Steve has a strong background of eCommerce knowledge and experience. A key focus area for Steve is to increase our insight into and awareness of how Frontline customers interact with brands, and in doing so, improve the conversion and profitability of the online customer journeys. Since the introduction of tablets and iPads, browsing and shopping online has become even more accessible and as a result, the demand for a seamless customer journey has increased. It is vital that insurance companies provide their customers with a smooth and fast customer journey across all channels."
