ACM ULR appoints Gary Elliott to progress new business strategy
Immediate release: 03 October 2007
Gary Elliott has been appointed as the new Associate Director for Account Development in ACM ULR, the claims management arm of personal lines intermediary the BGL Group.
Gary brings years of experience to the fast-growing ACM business, with a recent role as a director working within The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF). Prior to this he had a five year spell at RAC Motoring Services as Head of Brand and Commercial Marketing. Other previous roles include: Marketing Director with KIA Motors UK and Marketing and Product Manager at Hyundai Car UK.
Gary said: "I am tremendously excited about my new role with ACM ULR, and am confident that I can make a significant contribution in driving forward its growing strategy. The business already has a successful claims management service, and it will be my challenge to expand this offering to new business partners and new sectors. ACM has a great deal to offer insurers, brokers and fleet managers in terms of increased efficiencies, service and bottom line improvements."
Managing Director of ACM ULR Bob Perry said: "Gary has an extensive background in the automotive industry, both with manufacturers in a retail environment and support services. We are looking forward to applying his expertise to our business. We have ambitious growth plans and Gary's appointment is an important element in achieving our future targets."
Since leaving the RMIF in January, Mr Elliott has been working as a consultant in the motorsport sector and took up his new position with ACM ULR in September.
