ACM strengthens team with new Director

Mike Edgeley appointed to extend ACM's Vehicle Repair Service

Mike EdgeleyACM ULR, the claims management arm of the BGL Group, today announced the appointment of Mike Edgeley as Associate Director of its Vehicle Repair Services (VRS) team.

Mike joins ACM from the BGL Group's Internet team, where he has been Associate Director for e-commerce for the last year, and previously held the position of Associate Director for Commercial Delivery for BGL's affinity partnerships business, Junction. He joined the Group in 2007, and was previously Operations Director at First Group.

ACM introduced Vehicle Repair Services in December 2007, enabling the business to offer complete accident management to BGL Group and partner brands, plus insurer partners. The service relies on a network of 140 high quality repairers throughout the UK. These have been hand-picked to ensure excellent customer service and high standards of work. In addition they are all data networked with ACM ULR to provide complete visibility of progress.

ACM ULR provides end-to-end support for policyholders with non-fault claims, from taking first notification of loss calls and arranging vehicle collection, to supplying replacement cars and arranging repairs.

Mike Edgeley started his career with KPMG in London prior to joining the Army. He served in the Parachute Regiment for 17 years, which incorporated a number of operational tours overseas. He also worked in a number of staff appointments, including the Permanent Joint Headquarters in London, involved in the planning, preparation and delivery of the Defence-wide capability and operations.
