Local contact centre donates to marching band and nursery
Immediate release: 02 June 2007
Fusion contact centre in Corporation Street, Coventry has chosen to donate £400 to help two local causes.
Fusion, a division of the BGL Group, has joined in the 60th anniversary celebrations of the City of Coventry Corps of Drums by donating money to help buy new uniforms for their members. The marching band, one of the most famous and respected youth marching bands in the country, is actively encouraging young people to join them as they continue with their programme of appearances in the UK and Europe.
The Fusion Coventry contact centre handles sales and customer service calls primarily for Bennetts motorcycle insurance, which is the UK's number one brand for motorcycle insurance and is the title sponsor of the Bennetts' British Superbike Championship.
A member of the City of Coventry Corps of Drums said: "We rely heavily on donations made by local businesses and we are extremely grateful to Fusion for their generosity."
Fusion has also made a donation to Flutterbies, a local nursery which offers day care for children from six weeks to five years. Flutterbies, which has facilities in Holbrooks and Chapelfields, is trying to promote outdoor activities and will use the donation to buy an outdoor climbing frame.
