Fusion Recognises Top Stars
Immediate release: 01 December 2006
The talents of top performers from Fusion Contact Centre Services, based at Sunderland Enterprise Park, part of the BGL Group, have been recognised at the Group’s annual awards ball. Sean Gleeson, Tony Davis and Nicola Wyness secure awards for hard work and positive contributions to the company over the last year.
The prestigious black tie event featured a 'Paint the Town Red' theme and was attended by over 600 staff from across the Group’s UK operations and was hosted by Group Chief Executive, Peter Winslow.
Commenting on the awards, Peter Winslow said: "The continued commitment and hard work of all our staff plays a crucial role in the phenomenal success and growth of the business. I am delighted that we have this opportunity to celebrate and recognise our people who, throughout the year, have made considerable contributions to the Group."
Sean won the award for 'Best Sales Performance' and Nicola secured the award for 'Service Excellence', while Tony was presented with the ‘Just be…’ award, which recognises an individual who has best displayed the Group’s core values throughout the year.
Commenting on the trio's success, Barbara Porritt, Head of Site for Fusion said: "I am delighted to see our people here in Sunderland recognised. Sean, Tony and Nicola, work hard to look after our customers and support colleagues. We have a very positive atmosphere here at Fusion with a supportive team environment that helps our people to shine."
The trio beat off tough competition from nominees across Fusion’s contact centres in Coventry, Sunderland and Peterborough, who handle sales and customer service calls for Budget and Dial, Bennetts motorcycle insurance and top high street brands such as Post Office, Bradford & Bingley and Marks & Spencer Money.
