Welcome to the BGL Group's 2008/09 Results and Review.

"I have pleasure in presenting you with BGL Group's Annual Results and Review for the financial year ending June 2009.

In a challenging economic climate, the BGL Group has enjoyed continued profit growth, largely driven by contract wins for Junction and growth for comparethemarket.com.

Some of the highlights for the year are:

• Pre-tax profit of £54 million
• 24 per cent profit growth
• 2.2 million customers
• Three new affinity partnerships for Junction: RAC, Barclays and HSBC
• A doubling in market share for comparethemarket.com
• A new proposition and two industry awards for ibuyeco
• £150,000 donated to charitable and environmental causes
