In January 2006 the BGL Group launched an insurance product for commercial vehicles, following a research project which identified this market as a significant growth opportunity. Via extensive customer analysis the brand established media and brand strategies to reach the target market - typically builders, painters and decorators, plumbers and other small businesses. Marketing has been developed to appeal to the stereotypical 'van man' via an innovative and creative approach.
